Good morning! We hope everyone has had a great weekend. With $1.17 trillion wiped from the crypto market, maybe there were some algorithms out there that predicted the major sell-off. Over on our side, many things have begun to pick up speed, as we just wrapped up an amazing week with Z Fellows. Again, we would love to set up a call and chat with you (and you’ll receive some perks for our upcoming Platform). Enjoy!
Happy trading,
The Blankly Team
UPDATES
We are now fully integrated with KuCoin and FTX! Now, you’ll be able to use accounts for both of those exchanges for live trading, paper trading, and backtesting. This has been one of the more requested features in our Discord, and we’re excited to finally bring it to you all. Stay tuned for the future! Other exchanges we’re planning to integrate are Kraken (already in development!), OKX, TD Ameritrade, Webull, and Robinhood.

Blankly Package v1.15.0-beta is also out! A few of the updates included:
Dramatically improve platform CLI
Reporter headers update
Add shorting to alpaca, #73 - experimental feature including simulated margin
Upgrade tests to run as a matrix
Read more about the release here.
If you have any issues or encounter any bugs, don’t hesitate to open a new issue, and we’ll get to it as soon as possible. For other concerns and questions, feel free to ask in our Discord, where there’ll be many other members of the community that are happy to help.
More on the package, we’re now over 500 stars on Github! This isn’t a large number by any means, but it is still a very significant milestone for us. With all of our efforts working to bring updates to the Blankly Package and Platform, there is also the aspect of sharing it out to the quant and algo trading communities. If you have found Blankly useful for you, please considering sharing it to your friends and family! It helps us tremendously in growing our community, and we’ll provide all the support you need along your trading journey. New blog posts are in the works every week, as well as Youtube videos, updates, and many more forms of content we’re looking to dive into (even TikTok, maybe?). Thank you, and we appreciate it greatly!
Finally, we’ll be hosting an Ask Us Anything event over on our Discord. Mark your calendars, it’ll take place on Thursday, January 27th, at 2 PM EST. Hop on over and join a call with our founders Brandon and Emerson, as well as other developers on the team, where we’ll answer all of your questions about how we got started, Blankly, the quant and trading space, as well as some possible future plans for DeFi and Web 3.0. We’re excited to have you!
